All programs are cohort-based and begin in August of each year. BSN-DNP options are 36 months. Post-master's options are available in full-time (five semesters) and part-time (seven semesters).
The RN TO DNP program provides the opportunity for registered nurses, who have obtained an associate degree or diploma in nursing to be considered for one of the DNP tracks. This program does not award a BSN or MSN but will award a DNP upon successful completion of the program. (full-time/blended)
The BSN TO DNP program provides students with the opportunity to gain intensive experiences in an advanced nursing practice role. The program integrates biosciences, education, research, business, and technology within a Christian worldview. This program does not award a BSN or MSN but will award a DNP upon successful completion of the program. (full-time/blended)

The Post-Master's DNP provides students with the opportunity to strengthen clinical skills and enhance the understanding of the theoretical underpinnings that support their specialty area of practice. This program does not prepare students for a new specialty. (online/full or part-time)
- Application: All non-traditional nursing students must complete the Union University College of Nursing Supplemental and NursingCAS applications only. You are not required to apply to the university separately. Union University College of Nursing participates in the Nursing Centralized Application Service (NursingCAS). NursingCAS partners with many colleges and schools of nursing to provide an online application to students, collect and process application documents, and verify transcripts on the school's behalf. The school receives information from NursingCAS and is solely responsible for all admission decisions. *We strongly recommend checking your personal application page on the NursingCAS application portal to monitor the successful transmission of your transcripts and recommendations. - Application Fee: The Union University application fee is $50 and is non-refundable. You have the option to pay online by credit card. You may also pay by check or money order with your supplemental application. The NursingCAS application fee is $70 and is non-refundable. You have the option to pay online via the NursingCAS website.
- Transcripts: Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions must be submitted directly through NursingCAS. Please do not send transcripts for non-traditional nursing programs to Undergraduate Admissions. Transcripts must be received by NursingCAS in a sealed envelope from all previous academic institutions attended. Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions must be sent to:

- Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of professional/academic reference specifying the applicant's capabilities for graduate study to include one letter of reference from the current supervisor. Letter of Recommendation forms are a part of the NursingCAS Application.
- Personal Statement: Please upload a statement of professional goals to the NursingCAS application. Topics to be included are:
- Why you wish to become a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator, or Nurse Administrator/Leader
- What you plan to do with this degree, including long term goals
- How you have prepared for success in this program
- Please provide proof of the items below by uploading to NursingCAS:
- Proof of BSN or MSN degree completion, if applicable.
- Proof of current RN Licensure.
- Proof of Undergraduate Statistics.
- Submission of Curriculum Vitae.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission. All application documents must be received prior to the application deadlines. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- If you are not a U.S. citizen, an international application must be completed and submitted with the BSN application. All international transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited evaluating agency found at the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services' website: www.naces.org
- Applicants from a country where the native language is not English must show proof of English proficiency with scores from TOEFL, IELTS, or iTEP courses. Minimum scores are TOEFL 560 (Internet-based 80), IELTS 6.5, or iTEP 4.4. In addition, students must provide WES evaluations of transcripts.
